MY STORY
Counselor: Desmond Mack, LLPC
As a Mental Health Clinician, my goal is to work with clients in a collaborative method, to reach the goals on their journey through life’s processes and transitions. I utilize a holistic counseling style, however, with a client-centered focus, allowing for freedom of expression and collaboration. The goal is to help with the exploration of all thoughts and feelings and develop the tools needed for self-growth.

I received a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State University. My Journey toward the profession of counseling comes from the desire to combat the stigma surrounding mental health. Creating a session in which clients can feel the collaborative process. However, I am working with each person as an individual to help them explore their cognitions and emotions in a safe place, additionally understanding the commonality in using assistance, and demystifying the process.
